05/19/87 <br /> 3.2% BEER LICENSE - GEORGE OIL - <br /> PUBLIC REARING Ferris explained that George Oil Company, Inc. is <br /> applying for a 3.2% beer license at 947 Pins where <br /> they recently expanded their existing business and <br /> wish to meal 3.2% packaged beer. The premises has <br /> been posted and the notice of tonight's public <br /> hearing was published in accordance with State <br /> Liquor Laws. Oedipus, Inc. circulated four <br /> petition packets throughout the City of Louisville <br /> and contained a total of 353 signatures. 301 <br /> people favored the license, 50 opposed and 2 <br /> signatures were deleted. <br /> Donald Wilson, attorney for the applicant, stated <br /> that he had several witnesses from the surrounding <br /> neighborhood in attendance at tonight's public <br /> hearing to testify in favor of the license should <br /> Council desire to hear their testimony and/or ask <br /> questions. <br /> Mayor Fauson thanked the witnesses for attending <br /> the meeting and asked Council if they had any <br /> questions for the witnesses. None. <br /> Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing and asked <br /> if anyone wished to speak in favor of or in <br /> opposition to the application for a beer license <br /> for George Oil. None. <br /> Mayor Fauson asked about the temporary Certificate <br /> of Occupancy wherein there is a provision for <br /> landscaping. Wanush stated that the requirement <br /> wag the City would issue the temporary C.O. (March <br /> 1987) and they agreed to complete the landscaping <br /> by July 1, 1987. <br /> Mayor Fauson closed the public hearing and called <br /> for a motion. <br /> Mohr moved that the application for a 3.2% Beer <br /> License for George Oil be approved. Szymanski <br /> seconded. By Roll Call Vote, the motion was <br /> passed unanimously. <br /> APPROVAL OP AGREEMENT - EXCHANGE or REAL ESTATE - <br /> BOMART Wanush explained that this agreement between the <br /> City and Nourt Development Company is for the <br /> exchange of land. The City is giving an <br /> approximately 7.2 acre sits on the southern <br /> portion of the Recreation Center site to Nomart <br /> while Mozart is giving the City approximately '1,2 <br /> acres along Dahlia Street in Parcel C in the <br /> Cherrywood Subdivision. The site that the City <br /> receives is subject to an agreement with the <br /> Boulder Valley School District to use as an <br /> 3 <br />
