07/07/87 <br /> ORDINANCE #932 - SARATOGA II RIGHT-OF-WAY VACATION - 1ST READING <br /> SET PUBLIC REARING Rautenstraus read by title only Ordinance #932, An <br /> Ordinance vacating a portion of a pedestrian right- <br /> of-way located in Saratoga Second Filing.• <br /> Permission is being sought to place the Ordinance <br /> out for publication and a public hearing set for <br /> August 4, 1997. <br /> A petition was presented to Council by Barry Shook <br /> of 984 Cleveland Ct. The petition represents the <br /> concerns of the homeowners on Cleveland Ct. asking <br /> for a full easement of the right-of-way for various <br /> reasons listed in the petition. <br /> Szymanski asked Mr. Shook to summarize the petition <br /> for Council. Mr. Shook stated that among the issues <br /> stated, safety and maintenance were issues they asked <br /> to be considered in granting a total easement of the <br /> right-of-way. <br /> Mayor Fauson accepted the petition and asked that <br /> copies be given to Council for their conu.ieration <br /> when the Ordinance comes up for public hearing on <br /> August 4, 1997. <br /> Anderson moved that Ordinance #932 be put out for <br /> publication and a public hearing set for August 4, <br /> 1987. Mohr seconded. Unanimous. <br /> ORDINANCE #933 - SEWER BOND REFUNDING - 1ST READING - <br /> SET PUBLIC HEARING Hundley stated that Ordinance #933 regarding the <br /> refunding of sewer bonds was delayed and asked that <br /> this item be postpone until Council's next meeting. <br /> Russ Caldwell, the City's financial advisor, <br /> Kirchner Moore, Inc., explained in detail to Council <br /> the reason there are delays regarding the sewer bond <br /> refunding. The sewer bonds will receive Triple A <br /> rating by obtaining insurance. This has taken a <br /> little longer, however, Mr. Caldwell stated that <br /> they are very close at this point to finalizing an <br /> agreement for insurance. <br /> OTHER: <br /> PASQUALES RESTAURANT AND BAR LIQUOR LICENSE <br /> RENEWAL Anderson stated that he asked that this item be <br /> considered under Regular Business so as to voice <br /> concern over an incident that took place at this <br /> establishment which is still pending. Anderson <br /> stated, "My concerns are only because of reported <br /> charges that have been made against the owner of the <br /> establishment. The charges stated are of a serious <br /> enough nature that I just want to say that I will <br /> monitor the outcome of that." Anderson stated that <br /> 4 <br />
