• 07/07/87 <br /> anyone is innocent until proven guilty, but he wants <br /> to be sure that individuals understand that the City <br /> does not take liquor licensing lightly. There are <br /> rules and ordinances relating to conduct and the <br /> reporting of incidents at establishments selling <br /> alcohol. Anderson further commented that the Public <br /> Safety Department is doing an excellent job of <br /> enforcement and is pleased to see this type of <br /> information included in the monthly reports to <br /> Council. <br /> Mayor Fauson asked that a packet of information be <br /> sent to all existing liquor license establishments <br /> informing them of City ordinances relating to <br /> alcohol and that all new applicants receive copies <br /> upon application. <br /> With no further questions or comments, Mayor Fauson <br /> moved that the Liquor License for Pasquales be <br /> renewed. Mohr seconded. Unanimous. <br /> RIBBON CUTTING ON Hundley stated that South Boulder Road was ready for <br /> SOUTH BOULDER ROAD a ribbon cutting ceremony. Monday, July 13th, at <br /> 11:30 a.m. was selected. The County Commissioners <br /> will be invited. <br /> FINANCE COMMITTEE A Finance Committee Meeting was set for 7:30 a.M. on <br /> MEETING - SET DATE July 13th. <br /> REQUEST TO USE HARPER The Louisville Fire Protection Agency requested use <br /> LAKE FOR DIVING of Harper Lake for diving exercises over this <br /> EXERCISES weekend, Saturday, July 13.th from noon until 4:00 <br /> p.m. and again on Sunday should they need more time <br /> to complete these exercises. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS None. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE <br /> REPORTS Carnival informed Council that the Joint Louisville <br /> Lafayette Recreation Committee had met and discussed <br /> the issue of site location. Both Directors of <br /> Community Services were directed to look into other <br /> sites and estimated cost figures for the Lastoka <br /> Property and the Pow Wow facility in terms of set- <br /> ting up a Recreation District. The next meeting <br /> date has not yet been determined. <br /> Szymanski asked Carnival if the subject of funding <br /> had been discussed. Carnival replied that it had <br /> only briefly, but that the discussions assumed that <br /> there would be a tax district of some kind. <br /> Anderson commented on the Open Space Work Shop last <br /> Saturday attended by Wanush, Lillo and Anderson. He <br /> had copies of information for Council stating that <br /> 5 <br />
