Publication and
proper notice of public hearing were established.
Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing.
Wanush explained that Derek and Cara Anderson are
requesting the annexation of their property at 375
South 80th which is located west of McCaslin across
from Harper Lake. This is the first of two
annexation ordinances prepared for the property: two
are needed in order to comply with the statutory
requirement for 1/6 contiguity to the existing City
limits. Planning Commission reviewed the two
annexation requests and determined that both meet all
municipal and state criteria regarding annexation.
They recommended approval without conditions. The
Public Works Department will have a 30 ft. easement
for a frontage drive along the west side of McCaslin
and this will be shown on the plat. To avoid an
open cut on McCaslin, the water connection is to be
bored under the roadway adequate to serve potential
users, estimated to be no leas than 6 inches.
Mayor Fauson asked for public cowmeuta either in
favor of or in opposition to this Ordinance. None.
Szymanski asked if Mr. Anderson would be entitled to
recovery fees for the installation of the 6 inch
water connection. Wanush stated that he would be.
Mayor Fauson closed the public hearing and called
for a motion. Mohr moved that Ordinance 9940 be
adopted. Anderson seconded. By Roll Call Vote,
Ordinance 0940 was adopted unanimously.
ORDINANCE 0941 - ANDERSON ANNEXATION 92 -
PUBLIC NEARING Rautenstraus read by title only Ordinance 0941, "An
Ordinance annexing to the City of Louisville,
Colorado, a parcel of property of approximately 4.139
acres located west of McCaslin Boulevard which is
owned by Derek and Cara Anderson." Publication and
proper notice of public hearing were established.
Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing.
Wanush asked that his presentation and remarks during
the previous Agenda Item relating to Ordinance 0940
be accepted as part of the record for Ordinance 0941.
Mayor Fauson asked for any public comments either in
favor of or in opposition to Ordinance 9941.
