The Authority is <br /> recommending, and a public bearing on this <br /> recommendation is taking place November 16th, the <br /> establiwhment of a $1.0 per year vehicle <br /> registration fee within the boundaries of the <br /> Authority following a referendum thereon on <br /> February 1, 1989. <br /> Mohr explained that i complete financing plea is <br /> not yet available. The Governor has established a <br /> Transportation Roundtable which is investigating <br /> many issues which will be directly and indirectly <br /> impacting how the Authority may proceed. The <br /> legislature is considering other legislation that <br /> may have an effect on this issue. On the November <br /> 8th ballot, those people in the jurisdiction of t- <br /> 410 are voting on this same 510 registration fee. <br /> These uncertainties make it difficult to put <br /> suggesting total thegninee jurisdictions <br /> consideration is <br /> consideration of allowing this election on <br /> February ith to proceed in consideration of the <br /> 810 fee as part of the financing plan. Four <br /> different options have been considered and the 810 <br /> fee is being rellomwendod by the Authority. Mohr <br /> stated that there is a possibility hat the <br /> new may present n legislation that will <br /> render this plan unnecessary by providing other <br /> possibilities for funding this project. <br /> 7 <br />
