In the event <br />said rents are not paid when due, the City Clerk may certify such <br />delinquent rents to the treasurer of Boulder County, and said <br />rents shall be collected in the same manner as though they were a <br />part of the taxes on such property. Al ternati vely , the ci ty <br />shall be entitled to judgment against the consumer, or any owner <br />or occupant of any real property served for the costs and <br />expenses of such proceeding, including attorney fees in addition <br />to the amount of delinquency. <br /> 13.12.130 - Discontinuance of Service. <br /> A. Any person who desires to permanently discontinue the <br /> use of water shall file written notice with the City <br /> and pay all current and back charges for water used. <br /> B. Any person who desires to temporarily discontinue the <br /> use of water shall file written notice to the City <br /> utility Billing Department and pay all current and back <br /> charges for water used. A fee of Fifteen Dollars <br /> ($15.00) shall be charged for discontinuance of water <br /> service. During the time a water service is <br /> temporarily discontinued there shall be no minimum <br /> monthly charge for water consumption. However, there <br /> shall continue to be charged bond retirement and <br /> interest payment cost, as per section 13.12.070. When <br /> a person wishes to reactivate a temporarily <br /> discontinued service they shall file with the City's <br /> utility Billing Department a written notice, and pay <br /> all current and back charges for water service. A fee <br /> of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) shall be charged for <br /> reactivating a discontinued service. <br /> section 5. Sections 13.20.010, 13.20.020 of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 6. The following sections are hereby added to Title <br />13 of the Municipal Code. <br /> 13.20.010 - Powers of Superintendent-City Council Authority. <br /> A. The City Administrator shall appoint the Public Works <br /> Director of the City or another qualified person to act <br /> as Superintendent of the wastewater system. <br /> B. The Superintendent shall have the immediate control and <br /> management of all things pertaining to the city <br /> wastewater system, and he/she shall perform all acts <br /> necessary for the prudent, efficient, and economical <br /> management and protection of said wastewater system, <br /> subject to the approval of the City Administrator. <br /> - 3 - <br />
