--

consideration of access to Louisville because of
the at grade intersections that are proposed at
Broomfield will preclude efficient access from
Louisville to the airport and I think that is
something that needs to be considered. The
96th/Dillon Road intersection is something that
you need to pay attention to. I think it is the
paramount access that Louisville will have to the
parkway. I think that is the place where
Louisville is going to really benefit the most.
That is the area left in Louisville for us to
develop the 800 acres and I think that needs to be
paid attention to. The 96th street Interchange
that Broomfield and Interlocken are clearly
pushing in conjunction with the parkway is also
something that needs considerable attention paid
to it. We paid for out interchange, let them pay
for theirs. I think we need to pay attention to
what we are gaining.

Ken Hoyle, 10101 Dillon Road.

Hoyle: If any of you would like to see the area that we
are talking about please call me and I will be
happy to you on a tour of that area.

Davidson: My support for this parkway is dependent upon it
being a compromise and dependent upon a lot of
things. When you start doing tolling and you
start doing a parkway authority I get fears of the
great big "W". My support of a compromise is a
parkway not a W-470. If these things remain in the
final agreement I would find it difficult to
support it. I think it is a different approach
than what has been put forward from the beginning.
A foothills parkway type of road I can support,
the minute that you start to turn it into
something else my support dies on it.

Hornbostel: The tolling and parkway authority suggestions are
coming from Jefferson County. They will be
discussed.

Davidson: Section 5 Page 6 in the middle of the section,
this sentence needs to be looked at or taken out
or modified.

Griffiths: I think this is a very important issue. To me the
intent of the language was to make it clear that
Louisville had the opportunity to annex that land
and if it voluntarily choose not to do so then
that is fine. I think we should go back and work
on the language.

9
