..,.
other two days that the committee is wanting?
Baysinger: At this time both of those dates look open. The
only thing that would be different is that holding
this on a Sunday we could be closed for the entire
day, unless we extend our evenings hours for that
day.
Hornbostel: I think extending the evening hours for that day
would be a good idea.
Mayor Fauson moved to allow the Special Olympics to use the
recreation center either May 5th or May 19th and also the Finance
Committee look into ways of funding this event if at all
possible, seconded by Davidson. All in favor.
DISCUSSION/MOTION - EASEMENT AGREEMENTS
Phare: The document before you is an easement agreement
from Cliff Foster. Cliff Foster is the property
owner for Louisville Plaza project property. This
document is for an easement through his property
that locates a water line consistent with the
Louisville Plaza development. If the property is
not sold by June 10th by Mr. Foster, we will
reimburse up to $1,500 for crop damage through the
area that will be disturbed by the construction
for the water line.
Howard: Why is the city going to reimburse Mr. Foster
instead of the builder? Why is there not
something in the agreement with the builders?
Phare: If we reimburse Mr. Foster, that is because the
property has not been sold to the developer, so
there is no developer to pay.
Hornbostel: Is this a one time fee or do we have to do this
each time?
Phare: This obligation will end when the City reaches the
amount of $1,500.
Carnival moved to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the
North Louisville Service Expansion easement agreement, seconded
by Davidson. Motion passed 5-1 with Howard voting no.
AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE MIABLO PRUNING SYSTEM - WITH
ATTACHMENTS, 52" GROUNDSMASTER MOWER
Baysinger: In the 1991 budget, Council approved capital
expenditures for a Miabo Pruning System and 52"
riding mower. State bid for the pruning system is
$5,056, the bid for the riding mower is $10,757.
In total, these two pieces of equipment will come
11
