-.

in $887 under the budget projection.

Carnival moved to authorize the purchase of the Miablo Pruning
System and 52" riding mower per state bids, seconded by
Szymanski. All in favor.

DISCUSSION/MOTION - MEMORY SQUARE POOL BOILER REPLACEMENT

Baysinger: We have had Patio Pools come out and inspect the
boiler for Memory Square. Patio Pools estimates
$4,000 for replacement parts alone and expressed
concern at even being able to obtain some of the
replacement parts because of the age of the
boiler. Even if repair parts are obtainable the
work would not include any warranties or
guarantees. Without providing the necessary
repairs the boiler will be red tagged meaning it
will not pass boiler inspection through the State
of Colorado and Patio Pools will not accept
liability. We are recommending to replace the
boiler. The estimate obtained is $11,500 to take
out the old boiler and replace it with a new unit.

Mayor Fauson moved to authorize staff to obtain bids and replace
the Memory Square Swimming Pool boiler through Council
Contingency Funds and be allowed to use the higher efficiency
rating boiler if needed, seconded by Davidson. Motion passed 5-
0, with Carnival abstaining.

DISCUSSION/MOTION - TREE PRUNING AT LOUISVILLE CEMETERY

Baysinger: Contractual services for tree trimming at the
Louisville Cemetery is included in the 1991
budget. Based on the cost estimate of $10,00 to
provide this service, Council authorization is
needed in order to bid the project. After bids
have been received the item will be brought to
Council for bid award. Staff is planning to
coordinate this project in a time frame with the
quarterly tree mulching program.

Hornbostel moved to authorize staff to go out for bids for the
Louisville Tree Trimming project, seconded Mayor Fauson. All in
favor.

AWARD BID - PORTABLE HYDRAULIC POWER UNIT AND TRASH PUMP TO
WILLIAM HYDRAULIC, INC.

Phare: Included in the 1991 budget for the Wastewater
Treatment Plant is replacement of a portable
hydraulic power unit and hydraulic trash pump.
This equipment is used during maintenance
activities to pump down tanks and is also used as
standby equipment in case existing equipment fails
during routine operations.

12
