-. Howard moved to award the bid to Williams Hydraulic, Inc., of Brighton, Colorado for a portable hydraulic power unit and trash pump in the amount of $5,140, seconded by Mayor Fauson. All in favor. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor moved to go into an Executive Session to give instructions to a negotiator on a possible Louisville/Superior Water and Sewer Agreement and purchase of real property, seconded by Carnival. Motion passed 5-1 with Howard voting no. DISCUSSION/DIRECTION - LOUISVILLE/SUPERIOR WATER AND SEWER AGREEMENTS Howard moved to authorize the City Administrator and the City Attorney to continue the negotiations that they have started with the City of Superior, seconded by Mayor Fauson. All in favor. DISCUSSION/DIRECTION - PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY Mayor Fauson moved to allow the City Administrator to continue the discussions on the purchase of the real property and report back to Council and allow for an appraisal of the property, seconded by Hornbostel. All in favor. OTHER REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS ARISING AFTER PREPARATION OF AGENDA NONE CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT NONE CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT Brand: There will be Volunteer Appreciation Day on April 20th and asked that Council reserve the entire day for this. It will be held at the Recreation Center. More details will follow. The Futures Conference will be held May 3rd and May 4th at the Recreation Center. An outline of what the steering Committee has come up with was included in the packet. Carnival: There seems to be some concerns in the community about organizations that were not represented on the Steering Committee. How did the Steering Committee take place? Brand: Councilman Howard, the Mayor, Eugene Caranci from the Chamber and I met to talk about how to get this started. We realized that we needed a 13
