PROCLAMATION - "OLDER AMERICANS MONTH" - MAY 1991 <br /> Mayor Fauson declared the month of May as National Older <br /> Americans month. <br /> PROCLAMATION - "HISTORICAL MONTH" - MAY 1991 <br /> Mayor Fauson declared the month of Mayas National Historical <br /> month. <br /> At this time Mayor Fauson presented Councilwoman Hornbostel with <br /> a plaque on behalf of the city for all the work she has done on <br /> the Intergovernmental Agreement. The pen that was used to sign <br /> the agreement is on the plaque. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12, SERIES 1991 - ENDORSING CANDIDACY OF CITY <br /> ADMINISTRATOR ANNETTE BRAND FOR THE COLORADO MUNICIPAL LEAGUE <br /> EXECUTIVE BOARD <br /> Mayor Fauson: I asked that this be placed on the agenda and <br /> allow our City Administrator to run for the <br /> Colorado Municipal League Executive Board since I <br /> would prefer not running again. I have served for <br /> five years, went throught the chairs and have <br /> served as president. I would like to devote more <br /> time to the City of Louisville and being Mayor. I <br /> am asking for the Council's endorsement of Annette <br /> Brand for Colorado Municipal League Executive <br /> Board. She has been on the board before and has <br /> served well. She also served as President of the <br /> Colorado Municipal League before. <br /> Sackett moved to adopt Resolution No. 12, Series 1991 and endorse <br /> Annette Brand for the Colorado Municipal League Executive Board, <br /> seconded by Carnival. By roll call vote motion passed 7-0. <br /> Mayor Fauson asked that a letter be sent on behalf of the Mayor <br /> to the Colorado Municipal League along with a copy of the <br /> Resolution stating that the Council unanimously approved the <br /> Resolution on behalf of our City Administrator. <br /> REPORT ON LOUISVILLE DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MEETING: COUNCILMAN <br /> JOHN SACKETT (ORAL) <br /> Mayor Fauson: Stated that he had appointed Councilman Sackett to <br /> this committee along with Councilwoman Szymanski. <br /> since no other person contacted him about being on <br /> this committee, he volunteered to be the other <br /> member. <br /> Sackett: I have been asked by the Louisville Development <br /> Commission to speak on their behalf to the Council <br />
