...;,

have given her a call and unless there is
some objection from anyone on Council I think
she would be willing to be the council repre-
sentative on Coal Creek Rock Creek committee.

stewart McGregor of Engineering Dynamics was
at Memory Square today and will be there
tomorrow doing some sound measurements. We
had a request from the Pol locks a few months
ago about the noise level. The Pollocks have
been notified and will let Mr. McGregor into
their property so he can measure the sound
from there. Mr. McGregor will give us possi-
bilities on how we might address the noise if
indeed there are ways we can do it.

Greg Griffin of Scripps Howard will be at the
next work session, July 11 to give a report.
Greg has been working in Louisville yesterday
and today giving out the special plugs for
people to change over their cable television.

I have passed out punched copies of the
Budget Calendar to be placed in your Budget
Notebooks. Last week the Department Direc-
tors, Linda and I worked out a schedule so
that we could present to you in conceptual
form decision packages on each of your goals
and have discussion with you and go back and
refine them after the discussion. Sharon put
the calendar together and has booked in all
the required dates that have to be met and
also other agencies and what their responsi-
bilities are to us.

We have a target date of October 10 at work
session to present the draft budget which
would be the result of your discussion on the
decision packages. This would give us until
the first meeting in November to put together
the final budget for your adoption.

Brand reviewed the agenda for the July 11 Budget Work Session and
reminded Council that she will be out of town from July 3 and
will return on July 8. Tom Phare will be acting City Administra-
tor in her absence.

COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS

SZYmanski: I would like to get something out in the
public on record that I was not aware that
Kevin Howard had borrowed $5l8. 00 interest
free besides the $500.00 we had given him to

14
