..,'
Carnival: Before I make a motion I would like to thank Tom for
his efforts and the patience of the property owners in
bringing this to closure.
Carnival moved that Council direct staff to proceed with the construction of McCaslin Blvd.
from Alder to Via Appia providing for access through a drive located east of the existing
power poles, Fauson added a friendly amendment that the City make the request of the
County for reimbursement on that if at all possible, motion and amendment seconded by
Sackett. Motion passed 4-2, with Councilman Davidson and Councilman Howard voting
no.
RESOLUTION NO. 17, SERIES 1991 . HARDEE'S RESTAURANT FINAL
DEVELOPMENT PLAN
Griffiths read by title on Resolution No. 17, Series 1991, "A Resolution approving a Final
PUD Development Plan for Hardee's Restaurant."
John Franklin III, Director of Community Development gave an overview of the request
for approval of a Final PUD Development Plan for one of the restaurant pads that was
approved as part of the Louisville Plaza Final Development Plan. The pad in question is
located adjacent to and just northeast of the corner of Highway 42 and South Boulder
Road. The applicant is requesting approval of the development plan for a restaurant which
will provide both sit down and drive-up services, approximately 10,000 square fee in area.
The Planning Commission did review this request and did recommend approval to Council.
There were two conditions which are basically the staff conditions; one was some technical
corrections and revisions to the documents; the other was minor relocation of a sign to
improve side visibility, both of those have been taken care of. The applicants are here to
present their request.
Sackett: Do we have four deciduous and four evergreen trees, I
can find five trees, I didn't see the eight trees. Are
there eight trees? When do we get to review the whole
site in terms of landscaping?
Franklin: You did. When Council approved the Final PUD
Development Plan package, it included the landscape
plan which by ordinance is in enough detail to provide
the clear concept so that staff after approval may
approve the construction plans. That was done for all
the areas accept the pads, each of the pads will be
addressed individually as far as the near building
landscaping.
12
