---, Sackett: I don't think tonight, that I'm in a position to say what you should do with Donna. Brand: I think I need to hear that from you. Sackett: I think that they are two distinctive scenarios. Brand: Donna attended the meetings, transcribed the minutes, because Linda was still doing all of the business licenses and the tax refunds. Linda didn't you do almost everything except the meetings and the minutes? Salas: Donna and I did share the handling of the tax refunds, but I did the rest of the business licenses. Brand: There is a difference there. I am going to hear from Donna in the morning and I need direction from you if you are going to treat these separately. Carnival: I think we need to treat these separately. I think these are two separate issues. We need to deal with Pam's this evening based on the information we have and have received from Annette and Bill. If Donna chooses to come forward and request the same thing, I think we need to deal with that at that time based on the information that Donna provides and based on the information that we get from our City Administrator and our Human Resources Officer. I think the issue in front of us this evening is to deal with Pam Doersch and to give direction to Annette on how to deal with Pam, that would be my recommendation. Davidson: I have a question for the City Attorney. Since by ordinance we pay the Clerk $150.00 and that is the total compensation, can the Council in fact pass a resolution paying the City Clerk anymore than that legally? Griffiths: My feeling would be that the ordinance would have to govern the compensation of the City Clerk, if the ordinance says that is the amount that is payable to the City Clerk. Carnival: Tom, are you implying that the comp-time is for her City Clerk hours or exactly where are you headed? 24
