<br /> ..-., <br />Sackett: You've got to make that decision right now. <br />Fauson called for a motion and informed Councilman Sackett that if he wished to amend <br />his motion at this time it would be appropriate. <br />Sackett moved to follow Annette Brand's recommendation to deduct the 17 hours from the <br />52.75, leaving a balance of 34.75 hours to be paid to Pam Ferris-Doersch, seconded by <br />Hornbostel. <br />Davidson: In her memo does she spell out some City Clerk and <br /> some Administrative Assistant? <br />Brand: No, this is a memo that was in the file where she refers <br /> to 17 hours of comp-time which is definitely City Clerk <br /> duties, there is no way to tell the rest of it. <br />Mayor Fauson stated that there was a motion on the floor and that it was seconded by <br />Hornbostel. Motion passed 4-2, with Davidson and Howard voting no. <br />Councilman Howard asked for clarification from the City Attorney, whether or not being <br />an employee of a Councilmember is valid reason for excusing yourself from discussion. The <br />reason this came up was because Pam is working for Mr. Sackett. <br />Sackett made a clarification that Pam Ferris-Doersch has not worked for Avista Hospital <br />for over six months, almost a year. Sackett stated that he had no connection with Ferris- <br />Doersch. Sackett stated that if Ferris-Doersch was still in his employment that it would <br />have been appropriate for him to excuse himself from the discussion. <br />Griffiths requested that she be given the opportunity to go back and review the ordinance <br />and give Councilman Howard an answer at the next Council meeting. <br />DISCUSSION/DECISION CONCERNING BALLOT QUESTIONS: <br />DEVELOPMENT OF A ROADWAY BETWEEN E-470 AND C-470 OR <br />DEVELOPMENT OF A ROADWAY TO IMPROVE LINKAGE BETWEEN <br />LOUISVILLE AND THE NEW DENVER AIRPORT; AND TAXATION <br />INCREASE TO FINANCE THE ROADWAY <br />Pursuant to the direction of the City Council at its last meeting the City Attorney has <br />drafted motions for placing on the ballot, questions regarding development of a roadway <br />between E-470 and C-470 or development of a roadway to improve linkage between <br />Louisville and the new Denver airport; and taxation increase to finance the roadway. The <br />question regarding taxation will be placed on the ballot along with the question "Shall the <br /> 27 <br />
