Concerned about not allowing internally <br />illuminated signs would hurt the recommendation for marquee signs. <br />Illumination: <br />Lipton: What is missing is samples from Pearl Street Mall showing the extreme, <br />but not middle of the road. Use Pearl Street regulations for neon. Provide more <br />"meat" in this section. <br />Russell: Unique neon is cool. Store bought signs should not be permitted. Could <br />we tie sign type to certain uses? i.e. Marquees for music/ ters, etc. <br />Loo: Neon — what about neon in window signs.
