<br />Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />MARCH 9, 2006 <br />Page 6 of 16 <br /> <br />Commissioners discussed the 3rd floor reductions and developed the following recommendation <br />to staff: Draft a proposed revision to the Framework Plan that establishes a performance standard <br />and recites the reasons we are interested in the setback of the 3rd floor. <br /> <br />Wood reminded the Commission that any changes to the Framework will require a full public <br />notice. He also advised that it would be April before the notice could be completed. <br /> <br />Sheets inquired about the FAR discussion and suggested that if it needs a new public notice that <br />the two topics: 3rd floor setback and FAR reduction, be considered at the same time. <br /> <br />Wood stated that the two could be considered at the same time with proper public notice. <br /> <br />Members of the Public: None heard. <br /> <br />Commission Questions of Staff: <br />Lipton suggested additional 'whereas' clauses for inclusion to the resolution as follows: <br />1) the City of Louisville desires to promote a vibrant and economically stable Downtown <br />Commercial District <br />2) redevelopment of the Downtown Commercial Community would be encouraged through <br />the ability to increase building densities that would allow for three story buildings <br /> <br />Public Hearing Closed / Commission Comments: <br />Dalton moved and Pritchard seconded a motion to continue Resolution No. 28, Series 2005 to <br />the April 13, 2006 Planning Commission meeting. He then left the room. <br /> <br />Staff Report of Facts and Issues: <br />Wood provided the following summary points: <br />. A resolution requesting approval of a final subdivision plat and a final PUD for a two-lot <br />residential subdivision. <br />. Property is located at 201 West Spruce St. and is approximately 1.05 acres in size. <br />. The applicant is requesting relief through the PUD for the following: <br />1) A lot frontage of90 linear feet for Lots 1 and 2, rather than the required 120 linear <br />feet. <br />2) A side yard setback of 15' rather than the required 20'. <br />
