<br />services to mining clients. Focus is upon closure cost estimating, evaluating environmental
<br />liabilities and closure obligations, developing closure plans, and performing environmental
<br />audits and due diligence reviews. Projects primarily in the United States, Canada, Mexico,
<br />Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Russia.
<br />❑ Director, Environmental Affairs, Amax Gold Corporation. Implemented the Corporate
<br />Environmental Management System. Conducted performance evaluations of operating
<br />mines. Evaluated environmental issues associated with potential acquisitions and
<br />exploration properties. Provided direction for environmental permitting, compliance and
<br />management practices for new and existing mining operations. Amax Gold Inc. had
<br />operations in the United States, Canada, Chile and Russia.
<br />❑ Manager of Compliance, Lac Minerals Ltd. Managed the corporate environmental
<br />compliance program for Lac Minerals Ltd. Developed the corporate environmental standards
<br />and practices. Managed the environmental performance audit program with mines operating
