Two sessions were held in Louisville, one in April and <br />one in October. Two sessions were also held in Lafayette, one in January and one in <br />July, for a total of four sessions during the year. Louisville establishments sent 47 <br />people to the training sessions this year. <br />ACTION ITEMS <br />The Authority had twelve regularly scheduled meetings in 2003. <br />In 2003, the Authority renewed 44 liquor licenses. <br />Two Hotel & Restaurant licenses and two Retail Liquor Store licenses transferred. The <br />Authority issued 12 special events permits. <br />The breakdown for the (48) liquor licenses held in the City of Louisville is as follows: <br />Hotel & Restaurant 26 <br />Beer & Wine 3 <br />3.2% Beer (Off Premises) 9 <br />Retail Liquor Store 6 <br />Tavern 2 <br />Club 2 <br />Total 48 <br />The City had three establishments that closed during 2003 <br />
