HFAB's
review has often, in the past, been hasty and last minute, making thoughtful
response by HFAB too rushed and implementation of recommendations difficult,
and sometimes not easily accomplished.
An expanded role for HFAB in advising and working with the Planning
Commission, City Council and other city boards, for example, Open Space and the
Historical Commission.
An expanded educational mandate, including development of a yearly budget
recommendation for education.
On -going review of built projects, with recommendations for renovation to both
reduce future maintenance costs and difficulties and to increase over -all
sustainability, and to aid in the development of a budget for improvements.
HFAB's members have .a wealth of experience and knowledge. HFAB looks forward to
sharing this expertise, contributing to the creation of a more beautiful and sustainable city landscape.
