All were in favor. <br /> BI- MONTHLY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT UPDATE <br /> Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> Economic Development Director Star updated Council on the following Developments: <br /> Sam's Club Wal -Mart is considering one offer for the building <br /> Safeway —There is an indication of possible prospects <br /> Business Assistance Agreements (BAP) Completions Imagine Nation and <br /> Fresca Foods <br /> Vestas R D is considering another US expansion in one of four locations: <br /> Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Brighton or Louisville. It would involve research and <br /> design as well as manufacturing, employing up to 600 people. <br /> Downtown restaurants: Lucky Pie, Sweet Cow and Cactus Wheel opened in <br /> August. The Marketplace E3akery left 820 Main Street on August 17. <br /> Historic Grain Elevator Property possible activity on the 1.2 -acre property on <br /> Front Street <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Sisk commented on the new restaurants in downtown Louisville and the vibrancy <br /> of the area. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> Jean Morgan, 1131 Spruce Street, Louisville, CO reported hearing rumors the Sam's <br /> Club or Safeway site might be courting a big box liquor store. Economic Development <br /> Director Star received a call inquiring on Sam's Club and whether it would be a big box <br /> liquor store.
