City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> September 7, 2010 <br /> Page 9 of 12 <br /> MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Mairsella moved to approve Resolution No. 52, Series 2010, <br /> seconded by Councilor Muckle. All were in favor. <br /> RESOLUTION No. 53, SERIES 2010 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL <br /> REVIEW USE (SRU) TO ALLOW FOR PLACEMENT OF SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC <br /> ARRAY ON THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE'S NORTH WATER TREATMENT PLANT <br /> LOCATED AT 1955 WASHINGTON AVENUE <br /> Mayor Sisk recused himself from the discussion and vote on Resolution No. 53, Series <br /> 2010. He disclosed his residence is within 500' of the North Water Treatment Plant, <br /> and received a notice relative to this hearing. He left the meeting room at 8:40 p.m. <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Marselia requested a Staff presentation. <br /> Principal Planner McCartney explained Resolution No. 53, Series 2010 is an application <br /> for a special review use (SRU) to authorize a private utility to place a solar array on the <br /> North Water Treatment Plant located at 1955 Washington Avenue. This site is zoned <br /> Agricultural. The Louisville Municipal Code Guidelines were also applied to this <br /> property and the solar photovoltaic panels would be placed to the east of the property <br /> line. The height limitation is twelve feet. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> Stuart Todd, 1852 Fillmore Court, Louisville, CO thanked the City and Principal Planner <br /> McCartney for working with the homeowners and taking their concerns into <br /> consideration. <br /> H.R. Harrington, 457 E. Raintree Court, Louisville, CO stated he echoed the comments <br /> expressed earlier by Mr. Persichetti. <br /> MOTION: Councilor Clabots moved to approve Resolution No. 53, Series 2010, <br /> seconded by Councilor Sackett. All were in favor. <br /> Mayor Sisk returned to the meeting at 8:47 p.m. <br /> RESOLUTION No. 54, SERIES 2010 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL <br /> REVIEW USE (SRU) TO ALLOW FOR PLACEMENT OF SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC <br /> ARRAY ON THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE'S WATER TREATMENT AND SEWER <br /> PLANT LOCATED AT 1600 EMPIRE ROAD <br /> Principal Planner McCartney explained Resolution No. 54, Series 2010 is an application <br /> for a special review use (SRU)10 authorize a private utility to place a solar array on the <br /> Water Treatment and Sewer Plant located at 1600 Empire Road.
