He announced Money Magazine will host a "Money Take <br /> Charge Live" event on Thursday, September 16, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Louisville <br /> Middle School. Registration is required and may be made online. <br /> Councilor Muckle asked the residents to keep the Boulder County Fourmile Canyon fire <br /> victims in their thoughts and prayers. Mayor Sisk noted the Foothills United Way has <br /> set up a fund to assist homeowners impacted by the Fourmile Canyon fire. He asked <br /> Staff to publish information on the City's Web page. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> Deputy City Manager Balser requested a report on the Highway 42/South Boulder Road <br /> Intersection Improvement Project. Public Works Director Phare reported the project is <br /> scheduled to be completed by the end of October. Final paving will be done <br /> approximately two weeks before the project's end. A Project Hotline has been set up <br /> where information on activities can be obtained. At the halfway point, letters will be sent <br /> to the adjacent businesses to update them of the progress of the project. <br /> Deputy City Manager Balser thanked the City Staff, elected official and the residents of <br /> Louisville for their participation in the Labor Day Festivities. Mayor Sisk thanked Public <br /> Relations Manager Meredyth Muth for her countless hours of work. <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> RECOGNITION OF DOWNTOWN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION <br /> Mayor Sisk recognized the Downtown Business Association and all the volunteers for <br /> the success of the Annual Street Faire and presented a plaque to DBA President Mark <br /> Zaremba and member Chris Pritchard. <br /> Mark Zaremba stated it is a pleasure to live in a City so supportive of innovation. He <br /> thanked his fellow DBA Board members, Street Faire attendees and Sound Man Greg <br /> Rouse. He stated this year local artists prepared posters for every band who performed <br /> at the Street Faire.
