He announced Money Magazine will host a "Money Take Charge Live" event on Thursday, September 16, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Louisville Middle School. Registration is required and may be made online. Councilor Muckle asked the residents to keep the Boulder County Fourmile Canyon fire victims in their thoughts and prayers. Mayor Sisk noted the Foothills United Way has set up a fund to assist homeowners impacted by the Fourmile Canyon fire. He asked Staff to publish information on the City's Web page. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT Deputy City Manager Balser requested a report on the Highway 42/South Boulder Road Intersection Improvement Project. Public Works Director Phare reported the project is scheduled to be completed by the end of October. Final paving will be done approximately two weeks before the project's end. A Project Hotline has been set up where information on activities can be obtained. At the halfway point, letters will be sent to the adjacent businesses to update them of the progress of the project. Deputy City Manager Balser thanked the City Staff, elected official and the residents of Louisville for their participation in the Labor Day Festivities. Mayor Sisk thanked Public Relations Manager Meredyth Muth for her countless hours of work. REGULAR BUSINESS RECOGNITION OF DOWNTOWN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION Mayor Sisk recognized the Downtown Business Association and all the volunteers for the success of the Annual Street Faire and presented a plaque to DBA President Mark Zaremba and member Chris Pritchard. Mark Zaremba stated it is a pleasure to live in a City so supportive of innovation. He thanked his fellow DBA Board members, Street Faire attendees and Sound Man Greg Rouse. He stated this year local artists prepared posters for every band who performed at the Street Faire. He shared copies of the poster advertising the Subdudes with the Council and members of the public.
