In addition, reused water <br />has more salt, which creates additional difficulties. The grass will eventually <br />grow out as temperatures increase. Dick reported that value engineering was <br />one of the causes of the poor rebuild. <br />• David reported that sales in the pro shop are ahead of projections. He said <br />that Mark Jensen does a great job of promoting items. <br />• RAB members noted that Sandra Grow continues to do an excellent job with <br />the landscaping around the clubhouse. <br />Board Updates <br />Outdoor Rec Amenities <br />Lisa reported that the subcommittee met and discussed next steps. The <br />group members support the RAB outdoor rec proposals. Dick is working to <br />provide estimates of revenue generation with a new clubhouse. The <br />subcommittee continues to look for sites for soccer/multipurpose fields and <br />pickleball courts. Members will meet in June and continue the discussion. <br />Dick suggested the possibility of a small fitness room in the new clubhouse. It <br />would be a place to warm up before playing golf. He suggested that players pay <br />to use the equipment. <br />Mary O'Brien reported that City staff and contractors are taking better care of the <br />Centennial Park tennis courts.
