Public Works <br />Director Phare voiced his belief for a project this size, a contingency fund is <br />necessary. He hoped very little of the contingency funds will be spent. <br />Council member Sackett stated there is a need to widen the road for safety <br />purposes. He supported a traffic signal at St. Andrews sometime in the future. <br />MOTION: Council member Marsella moved to award bid to Asphalt Specialties, <br />Inc. for Dillon Road reconstruction in the amount of $961,554 with authorization <br />for the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the contract documents, seconded by <br />Council member Clabots. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote <br />of 7-0. <br />ORDINANCE No. 1492, SERIES 2006 - AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND <br />REENACTING CHAPTER 5.12 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE <br />REGARDING CONTRACTOR'S LICENSES - 1st reading - set public hearing <br />6/6/06 <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br />City Attorney Durfee read Ordinance No. 1492, Series 2006. <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk move that Council send Ordinance No. 1492, Series 2006 <br />out for publication and set a public hearing for June 6, 2006, seconded by <br />Council member Clabots. All in favor. <br />ORDINANCE No. 1493, SERIES 2006 - AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE <br />ISSUANCE AND SALE OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, REVENUE BOND <br />(DENTAL AID, INC. PROJECT) SERIES 2006, IN A TOTAL PRINCIPAL <br />AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $850,000; MAKING DETERMINATIONS AS TO <br />SUFFICIENCY OF REVENUES AND AS TO OTHER MATTERS RELATED TO <br />THE PROJECT AND APPROVING THE FORM AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF CERTAIN DOCUMENTS RELATING THERETO _1st reading <br />set public hearing 6/6/06 <br />Mayor Sisk disclosed he is a member of the Board of Directors for Wells Fargo <br />Bank.
