He asked if the applicant has requested <br />the Council to review. City Manager Simmons responded no. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown voiced his belief the City Council has given the Housing <br />Authority clear direction on affordable housing issues. He did not favor giving <br />specific direction for any particular Preliminary PUD. He stated he would have a <br />problem giving any direction without a policy. <br />Mayor Sisk stated the City does not have an ordinance addressing affordable <br />housing. He stated the Preliminary PUD for the North End project is not ready <br />for Council review. He favored allowing the prescribed process through the <br />Planning Commission. <br />Council member Muckle concurred with Mayor Pro Tem Brown and did not favor <br />Council giving direction on affordable housing on the North End project. <br />Council member Yarnell stated she was not prepared to give direction on <br />affordable housing issues. <br />There was consensus the Council would not call-up the North End Preliminary <br />PUD plat. <br />BUSINESS RETENTION & DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE (BRaD) <br />RECOMMENDATIONS - ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT WEB SITE <br />AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH XCELlGENT FOR <br />WEB SITE MAPPING SERVICES <br />Mayor Sisk requested a presentation. <br />Deputy City Manager Boyd reported the members of the Business Retention and <br />Development Committee reviewed and discussed proposals related to the <br />development and launch of the economic development web site. Xceligent is a <br />company that provides commercial data exchange services for the real estate <br />industry. Users of the City's web site would be able to access real estate data <br />specifically for Louisville, including property availability, square footage, allowed <br />uses and realtor contact information. <br />These services would cost the City $4,000 annually to be billed with an initial set- <br />up fee of $500, then $333.33 monthly thereafter. Xceligent's staff updates the <br />data base on a continual basis loading information provided through contacts <br />with realtors and by visiting the areas represented in the data base. The BRaD <br />committee recommends the City enter into an agreement with Xceligent for <br />
