City Council Meeting Minutes August 16,2005 Page 8 of 11 Mayor Pro-Tem Keany requested a Staff presentation. City Manager Simmons reported on correspondence received from Avista Hospital, which requested a continuance of this matter to a future Council meeting. A continuance would provide for discussions with the property owner and/or their attorney. There was Council consensus to continue this matter. Mayor Pro-Tem Keany called for a ten-minute recess at 9:30 p.m. Mayor Sisk called the meeting back to order at 9:40 p.m. City Attorney Light left the meeting at 9:40 p.m. PUBLIC HEARING - LANDMARK DESIGNATION APPLICATIONS PUBLIC HEARING - LANDMARK DESIGNATION APPLICATION - LOUISVILLE HISTORICAL MUSEUM, 1001 MAIN STREET PUBLIC HEARING - LANDMARK DESIGNATION APPLICATION - LOUISVILLE ARTS CENTER, 801 GRANT AVENUE PUBLIC HEARING - LANDMARK DESIGNATION APPLICATION - AUSTIN- NIEHOFF HOUSE, 717 MAIN STREET Mayor Sisk reported the Preservation Commission has requested the Landmark Designation on three properties be continued to September 6, 2005. MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved the public hearing on the three Landmark Designation Applications be continued to September 6, 2005. Council member Van Pelt seconded the motion. All in favor. ORDINANCE No. 1475, SERIES 2005 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CHAPTER 3.20 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE, REGARDING THE COLLECTION OF DELINQUENT SALES AND USE TAXES - 1st reading - set public hearing 9/6/05 Mayor Sisk requested an ordinance introduction. City Clerk Varra read Ordinance No. 1475, Series 2005. MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to send out Ordinance No. 1475, Series 2005 for publication and set a public hearing for September 6, 2005. Council member Van Pelt seconded the motion.
