The City Council has approved two large developments (North End
and Takoda/Steel Ranch) and numerous smaller changes, which should be reflected on
the Map. The Planning staff and the GIS Division have incorporated into a new map all
of the land use changes adopted by the City Council since 2006. They have also
updated the color scheme and graphic detail so the map more clearly and accurately
conveys the zone districts, property boundaries and jurisdictional boundaries. He noted
because of the GIS system, the City's Zoning District Map can be updated more
frequently
COUNCIL COMMENTS
Council member Keany noted the two Warembourg agriculture parcels contain
conservation easements. He suggested green hatching across the white parcels to
reflect the conservation easements, and note there will be no development in those
areas. Mayor Muckle concurred with Council member Keany on notating the
conservation easements on the zoning map.
ATTORNEY'S REPORT
No items to report.
