Louisville City Council Meeting
February 6, 2001
Page 8.

Baysinger stated that the contract represents a five-year agreement for Western Golf
Properties to manage Coal Creek Golf Course. Based on the Fixed and contingent
management fee (with the project budget for 2001), WGP fees will be approximately
$34,900 lower than the fee paid to Evergreen Alliance for 2000.

Davidson noted that the Finance Committee has reviewed the financial parts of the
contract and complimented Staff for negotiating the contract.

COUNCIL COMMENTS

Mayer voiced concern on how the City would handle a liquor license violation. He also
noted that the $34,900 savings in management fees should be paid back to the citizens
through the water billing.

Keany stated that he served on the committee and that it was their consensus that WGP
stood out from all the rest of the companies. They will provide a far superior, quality
product than was there before.

MOTION: Keany moved that Council authorize the Mayor to sign the Contract with
Western Golf Properties for the management of the Coal Creek Golf Course, seconded by
Mayer. Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 5-0. Howard and Sisk
excused.

RESOLUTION NO. 8, SERIES 2001 - A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF A FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT AND A FINAL PUD
DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR SUMMIT VIEW SUBDIVISION

Davidson called for Staff presentation.

Planning Director Paul Wood stated that the applicant is Mr. Hale Kell, represented by
Hartronft & Associates.
