He noted <br /> according the City Manager's Office Council Communication, "Federal law allows <br /> municipalities' very limited control and regulation through the franchise process." He <br /> stated this information is inaccurate and misleading and does not represent the interests <br /> of Louisville. The City has not required Comcast to provide a current determination of <br /> effective competition, but instead relies on data from nine years ago. He noted the <br /> statement the franchise agreement is for cable television only is not true. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Pro Tern Dalton requested Deputy City Manager Balser provide him with the last <br /> determination of effective competition, which he would present at the next meeting. <br /> BUILDING CODE UPDATE <br /> 1. The public <br /> hearing can be re-opened on both ordinances to allow the public comment. <br /> Mayor Muckle re-opened the public hearing and requested a staff presentation. <br />
