<br />STAFF ~OKMENTS <br /> <br />At their regularly scheduled meeting on March 12, 1991 the Plan- <br />ning Commission passed a motion to continue the request to April <br />9, 1991. <br /> <br />The motion was based on unaddressed issues identified from the <br />audience as well as the Commission relating to both on and off <br />site impacts. Those issues were forwarded by letter dated 3/14 <br />to the applicant. The following highlights those issues and the <br />applicant's response received by attached letter dated March <br />26th: <br /> <br />1. Traffic Distribution for Tape and Disk Drive. <br /> <br />The applicant has indicated that the expansion will increase <br />traffic during specific time periods during the day. The in- <br />creases are to be internal and are not expected to impact sur- <br />rounding neighborhoods. <br /> <br />2. and 3. Pedestrian safety. <br /> <br />The north parking lot is to be dedicated for daycare dropoff and <br />pickup. The revised site plan does show ~yield to pedestrian' <br />signs on both sides of the crosswalk. <br /> <br />The revised site plan shows three landscaped areas in which <br />landscape materials are to be restricted in height so as not to <br />conflict with pedestrian safety. <br /> <br />4. Project Liqhtinq. <br /> <br />The applicant has provided specifications for three types of <br />lighting fixtures. The revised site plan shows the location of <br />those fixtures and their respective areas of illumination. Free <br />standing light fixtures are to be 30 feet high. <br /> <br />5. Tot Lot Enclosure <br /> <br />Provided on the east elevation. <br /> <br />6. Siqnaqe <br /> <br />Signage will consist of one five foot high, 15 s.f., free stand- <br />ing sign and one wall sign. <br /> <br />7. Buildinq Heiqht <br />The building height at the highest point will be 38 feet. <br /> <br />2 <br />
