Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the amendment is for a new 8' x 38' (304 s.f.) main
identification sign located on So. 96th Street. The sign is being proposed in conjunction with the
relocation of Tape Drive (private) with the new 96th Street interchange improvements.

Davidson called for the applicant's presentation.

Ron Branford, Facilities Engineering Dept., Storage Technology, was there to answer any questions.

Davidson called for Council questions or motions.

Howard moved that Council approve Resolution No. 54, Series 1996, STC amendment to the Final
PUD Development Plan. Seconded by Keany. All in favor.

DISCUSSION/DIRECTION - NEODATA SERVICES, INC. - FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT
PLAN - SOUTH BOULDER ROAD ADDITION

Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the PUD proposed a 50,000 s.f., two-story office addition
to the facility at 833 West South Boulder Road. The 12.3 acre parcel is currently occupied by a
91,035 s.f. two-story office building and a 7,040 s.f. annex building, which were approved in June
of 1982. The Final Subdivision Plat in 1982 reflected a Phase II building expansion for up to an
82,000 s.f., two-story addition.

Davidson called for the applicant's presentation.

Jack Rudd, Architect, reviewed the project, including that the parking exceeded the City's
requirements per square foot.

Davidson called for Council comments and questions.

Sisk felt there should be a neighborhood meeting on this massive project, as neighbors felt Neodata
was trying to "fast track" this project without going through the process. He also wanted to see a
traffic report. Sisk did not want the project "fast tracked." He did not like the landscaping, especially
toward the east portion of the site. He wanted the parking kept to the interior and bermed so at night
the car lights do not seep over into the neighbors property. Sisk felt traffic flow should be addressed.

Mayer looked at the site and felt Neodata should call a formal neighborhood meeting before this goes
to the Planning Commission. He wanted more landscaping, particularly evergreens, and berming
along the church property and toward the rear of the site.

Howard also felt there should be a neighborhood meeting and the traffic flow studied. He did not
want the lighting to the neighbors to exceed what currently exists.

4
