City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December 2, 2014 <br />Page 2 of 6 <br />He stated he was actually arrested when he tried to prohibit a vehicle from cutting <br />across his property. He and his customers have had numerous close calls when cars <br />drove through his property at 30 miles per hour. He urged Council to enact a law to <br />prohibit vehicles from crossing private property. <br />Debbie Fahey, 1118 W. Enclave Circle, Louisville, CO reported there is now an official <br />brochure of the nine properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places. She <br />also reported tomorrow, Wednesday December 3rd will be the kick -off for the city -wide <br />Historic Preservation Master Plan at 6:30 p.m. <br />Rob Lathrop, 601 Johnson Street, Louisville, Co commented on the Turkey Trot event, <br />which was held on Thanksgiving Day. He noted there was no way out of town, because <br />all the roads were blocked and several cars were required to wait through the duration <br />of the race. He suggested in review of the permit process, the applicant provide for an <br />exit out of the City. He also suggested those working the event should have some <br />knowledge of the local streets to provide guidance to the exits. He complimented the <br />City on the downtown Christmas lighting. <br />APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />A. Approval of the Bills <br />B. Approval of Minutes - November 18, 2014 <br />C. Approval to Cancel December 23, 2014 Study Session <br />MOTION: Mayor Muckle moved to approve the Consent Agenda as published, <br />seconded by Council member Stolzmann. All were in favor. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />Mayor Muckle confirmed the Historic Preservation Master Plan kick -off will be <br />Wednesday, December 3`d, at 6:30 p.m., and will be held in the City Council Chambers. <br />He reported the annual Parade of Lights is this Friday, December 5th. The evening's <br />events begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by the parade at 7:00 p.m. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Fleming reported the Business Retention & Development Committee <br />(BRaD) sub - committee will meet on Wednesday, December 3rd between 2:00 and 3:30 <br />p.m. at the Louisville Center for the Arts. They will conduct a roundtable discussion with <br />the South Boulder Road retail property owners and solicit feedback on the South <br />Boulder Road Corridor. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />
