Levine. Seconded by Sisk. All in favor with Lathrop and Keany being <br />absent. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1179, SERIES 1995 - ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, <br />COLORADO, THE PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF <br />SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 1 SOUTH, RANGE 69 WEST, EAST OF STATE HIGHWAY 42, <br />AND SOUTH OF SOUTH BOULDER ROAD - EMERGENCY - LOUISVILLE SPORTS <br />COMPLEX ANNEXATION - 2ND READING - PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES <br />1/7/95) <br /> <br />Tanoue read by title only Ordinance No. 1179, Series 1995, "An ordinance approving the annexation <br />of unincorporated land owned by the City of Louisville, known as the Louisville Sports Complex <br />Annexation, to the City of Louisville, Colorado." <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that this second reading had been amended as an emergency <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing and suggested continuing this to a special Council meeting at <br />6:30 p.m. on January 24, 1995, at the Library, since this Ordinance required six affirmative votes as <br />an emergency ordinance and only five Councilmembers were present. <br /> <br />Howard: So moved. <br /> <br />Mayer seconded. All in favor with Lathrop and Keany being absent. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION/DIRECTION - SOLID WASTE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Mayer felt the IGA had problems that needed to be resolved, such as the financial obligation to any <br />of the entities, specifically the City of Louisville, during the term of this agreement. <br /> <br />Tami Tanoue, GrifIiths & Tanoue, felt the financial liability could be addressed by including language <br />such as, "No party shall have any financial liability under the agreement unless the liability had been <br />approved by each of the governing bodies." <br /> <br /> <br />
