AUTHORIZATION TO PROCURE BID PROPOSALS FOR PHASE IH OF THE <br />LOUISVILLE SPORTS COMPLEX <br /> <br />Steve Baysinger, Parks & Recreation Director, stated that this would include outfield fencing, <br />irrigation, field preparation, infield mix, sod, native grass seed, parking lot gravel, concrete ramps, <br />east landscaping, and ballfield lighting. <br /> <br />Howard asked to have a stipulation that all bidders approach local suppliers for the bid package, <br />where applicable. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council authorize staff, to procure bids for Phase III construction of the <br />Louisville Sports Complex as amended. Seconded by Levihn. All in favor. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5, SERIES 1995 OPPOSING THE <br />COMMERCIAL PASSENGER AIRLINE SERVICE AT THE <br />AIRPORT <br /> <br />ESTABLISHMENT OF <br />JEFFERSON COUNTY <br /> <br />Cory Dickson, 653 West Sandalwood Court, Louisville, Colorado, representing the Saddle Ridge <br />Homeowners Association, stated that the commercial passenger airline service would be a major <br />annoyance and encouraged Council to vote for the resolution opposing this. <br /> <br />Davidson commented that Council had received a letter from Stephen Jeffers opposing the <br />commercial passenger airline service. <br /> <br />Keany and Lathrop felt more information was needed before opposing the commercial airline service. <br /> <br />Sisk moved that Council approve Resolution No. 5, Series 1995, opposing the establishment of <br />commercial passenger airline service at the Jefferson County Airport. Seconded by Howard. Roll <br />call was taken. Motion passed by a 5 - 2 vote with Lathrop and Keany voting against. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1183, SERIES 1995 - CONSENTING TO THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE'S <br />INCLUSION IN THE NORTHERN COLORADO WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT - <br />1ST READING - SET PUBLIC HEARING 3/21/95 <br /> <br />Tanoue read by title only Ordinance No. 1183, Series 1995, "An ordinance consenting to the City of <br />Louisville's inclusion in the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District." <br /> <br />Tom Phare, Public Works Director, stated that this is to acquire the city's future water for Louisville's <br />continued growth and demand. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council comments, questions, or motions. <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
