Sackett rejoined the meeting at this time.
RESOLUTION #19, SERIES 1990, FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT AND FINAL PUD
DEVELOPMENT PLAN - COTTONWOOD HOLLOW
Read by title only, Resolution No. 19, Series
1990, "A Resolution approving a final
subdivision plat and PUD development plan for
Cottonwood Hollow."
Franklin stated P.J.M. Development
Corporation is requested to develop a 5 acre,
22 lot subdivision located south of
Hutchinson Street and East of Cleo Mudrock
Park. All lots are slightly larger than
7,000 sq. ft. minimum required by the RL zone
district. The school district will supervise
and maintain the parking lot and use the lot
for staff parking, during school hours.
Carnival moved and Mayor Fauson seconded to
adopt Resolution #19, Series 1990. By Roll
Call Vote, motion passed 7-0.
RESOLUTION #20, SERIES 1990, ESTABLISHING A CITIZENS ADVISORY
COMMITTEE ON OPEN GOVERNMENT AND ETHICS
Read by title only, Resolution #20, Series
1990, "A Resolution to establish a citizens
advisory committee on open government and
ethics."
Davidson stated there are a lot of concerns
by the citizens of Louisville about open
government and the ethics of the council
people. I feel that we need to seek the
citizens input on amending the current ethics
code. If we amend the code what we will do is
set the ethics to our standards and I believe
we should set them to the committee stand-
ards. What this resolution would do is
establish a citizens advisory committee at
which any citizen of Louisville would partic-
ipate with the Mayor appointing the chairman
and what they would do is write a recommenda-
tion for an ethics and open government ordi-
nance that would replace our current ethics
ordinance. The city attorney would act as an
adviser for this committee. The final
approval would be from council.
Howard asked if this was a recommendation and
if our city attorney would review it for
9
