They were going to do a study and the study would cost approximately $31,500. The County would pick up 40~ of the cost and the remain- ing portion would be picked up the rest of the four cities. Our share would be approxi- mately $4,500. They would like to have a decision by the first Tuesday of October. I would like this put on the agenda for the first meeting in October. Davidson: I have only one concern with that, is the city of Boulder and the city of Louisville paying the same amount? That seems a little bit much. I think we would be paying more than our fair share. Brand: Would you want this to go to the Finance Committee before the Council meeting? Mayor Fauson: That would be a good idea. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT NONE CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT Brand: Randy Carnival was going to meet with the Cherryvale Fire District. Because of a conflict I substituted for him. Out of that meeting I can bring back the message that Cherryvale will not postpone their decision about the exclusion request October the 9th. They are going to make their decision that night. After their meeting on October the 9th a couple of their board members would like to meet with a couple of the Council to discuss the future plans for annexation for Louisville. Brand: I would like to highlight one of the depart- ments in the Monthly Report. Normally for printing and mailing the Recreation Brochure it would cost $2,500, with using advertising this time Baysinger was able to mail out 20,000 copies and have 2,400 in an override at no cost. At the Recreation Center in August 83 annual passes were issued, 33 were family and 21 were couples and 29 individu- als. There were 91 punch passes issued and 516 ID cards were issued.
