They were going to do a study and the study <br />would cost approximately $31,500. The County <br />would pick up 40~ of the cost and the remain- <br />ing portion would be picked up the rest of <br />the four cities. Our share would be approxi- <br />mately $4,500. They would like to have a <br />decision by the first Tuesday of October. I <br />would like this put on the agenda for the <br />first meeting in October. <br />Davidson: I have only one concern with that, is the <br />city of Boulder and the city of Louisville <br />paying the same amount? That seems a little <br />bit much. I think we would be paying more <br />than our fair share. <br />Brand: Would you want this to go to the Finance <br />Committee before the Council meeting? <br />Mayor Fauson: That would be a good idea. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />NONE <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />Brand: Randy Carnival was going to meet with the <br />Cherryvale Fire District. Because of a <br />conflict I substituted for him. Out of that <br />meeting I can bring back the message that <br />Cherryvale will not postpone their decision <br />about the exclusion request October the 9th. <br />They are going to make their decision that <br />night. After their meeting on October the <br />9th a couple of their board members would <br />like to meet with a couple of the Council to <br />discuss the future plans for annexation for <br />Louisville. <br />Brand: I would like to highlight one of the depart- <br />ments in the Monthly Report. Normally for <br />printing and mailing the Recreation Brochure <br />it would cost $2,500, with using advertising <br />this time Baysinger was able to mail out <br />20,000 copies and have 2,400 in an override <br />at no cost. At the Recreation Center in <br />August 83 annual passes were issued, 33 were <br />family and 21 were couples and 29 individu- <br />als. There were 91 punch passes issued and <br />516 ID cards were issued. The total attend- <br />ance for public swimming session were 9,567. <br />The parks crew collected trash five times <br />each week, maintained approximately 350 acres <br />
