Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing and <br />asked if anyone was present who wished to <br />speak to this Ordinance. There was no one <br />wishing to speak. <br /> Mayor Fauson moved and Anderson seconded to <br /> continue the public hearing on Ordinance #998, <br /> Series 1989 until November 21, 1989. Motion <br /> carried. <br />CDBG BLOCK GRANT REQUEST - <br />PUBLIC HEARING Stahl explained that pursuant to the design of <br /> the new library, the City has perceived a need <br /> for a centrally located elevator in the library <br /> and the present budget does not provide funds <br /> for such an elevator. An application is being <br /> prepared for a community development block <br /> grant in the amount of $63,000 to provide funds <br /> for a new elevator. Prior to submitting the <br /> application, the applicant is required to hold <br /> a public hearing. <br /> Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing and the <br /> City Clerk certified publication of the notice <br /> of public hearing for this CDBG application. <br /> Mayor Fauson asked if there was anyone wishing <br /> to speak to the issue. There was not. <br /> Anderson moved and Mayor Fauson seconded to <br /> approve the application for CDBG monies for a <br /> new library elevator. Motion carried. <br />GOLF COURSE CLUB HOUSE COLOR <br />SELECTION Marschner explained that Fagre Construction has <br /> submitted colors for all items to be <br /> incorporated into the new clubhouse finish. <br /> Construction Services directed the architect, <br /> Midyette/Seieroe & Associates, to prepare color <br /> combinations from the submitted colors for <br /> review. Staff has reviewed the color <br /> combinations and recommends Exterior Color <br /> Scheme 1 and Interior Color Scheme B. <br />After Council reviewed the colors, Sackett <br />moved and Scarpella seconded to approve <br />Exterior Color Scheme 1 and Interior Color <br />Scheme B for the Coal Creek Golf Course <br />Clubhouse. Motion carried 4-0 with Anderson <br />abstaining. <br />APPROVAL OF GOLF COURSE <br />FEES Baysinger explained that Recreation Services, <br />LTD, in coordination with City staff, has <br />developed recommended fees for Coal Creek Golf <br />3 <br />
