Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing and asked if anyone was present who wished to speak to this Ordinance. There was no one wishing to speak. Mayor Fauson moved and Anderson seconded to continue the public hearing on Ordinance #998, Series 1989 until November 21, 1989. Motion carried. CDBG BLOCK GRANT REQUEST - PUBLIC HEARING Stahl explained that pursuant to the design of the new library, the City has perceived a need for a centrally located elevator in the library and the present budget does not provide funds for such an elevator. An application is being prepared for a community development block grant in the amount of $63,000 to provide funds for a new elevator. Prior to submitting the application, the applicant is required to hold a public hearing. Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing and the City Clerk certified publication of the notice of public hearing for this CDBG application. Mayor Fauson asked if there was anyone wishing to speak to the issue. There was not. Anderson moved and Mayor Fauson seconded to approve the application for CDBG monies for a new library elevator. Motion carried. GOLF COURSE CLUB HOUSE COLOR SELECTION Marschner explained that Fagre Construction has submitted colors for all items to be incorporated into the new clubhouse finish. Construction Services directed the architect, Midyette/Seieroe & Associates, to prepare color combinations from the submitted colors for review. Staff has reviewed the color combinations and recommends Exterior Color Scheme 1 and Interior Color Scheme B. After Council reviewed the colors, Sackett moved and Scarpella seconded to approve Exterior Color Scheme 1 and Interior Color Scheme B for the Coal Creek Golf Course Clubhouse. Motion carried 4-0 with Anderson abstaining.
