ORDINANCE NO. 1092, SERIES 1992 - AMENDING CHAPTER 15.04 OF THE <br />LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE ADDING A SECTION REGULATING FIREPLACE <br />IN'~;TALLATION - 2ND READING - PUBIC REARING (PUB. LSVL. TIMES <br />12/16/92 ) <br /> <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1092, Series 1992, "An <br />ordinance amending Chapter 15.04 of the Louisville Municipal Code <br />addling a section regulating fireplace installation." <br /> <br />Susan Griffiths, City Attorney, stated that a State law adopted in <br />1992 requires the City to adopt the proposed Ordinance after <br />January 1, 1993. She explained that the adoption of this Ordinance <br />is bringing the City into compliance with State law and, basically, <br />limits installation of new or remodeled fireplaces to those of the <br />types specified in the Ordinance. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the Public Hearing asking for anyone in the <br />audience who wished to speak in favor or against Ordinance No. <br />1092. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the Public Hearing and called for Council comments <br />or questions. <br /> <br />Mayer moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1092, Series 1992, <br />at 2nd Reading, regulating fireplace installation. Seconded by <br />Lathrop. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 7-0 vote. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1093, SERIES 1993 - RENAME CENTENNIAL DRIVE AS <br />DE.~IGNATED ON THE PLAT OF CENTENNIAL HEIGHTS WEST TO "HILI-qIDE <br />LA};E" AND "HILLSIDE COURT" - 1ST READING - SET PUBLIC HEARING <br />1/i9/92 <br /> <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance 1093, Series 1993, "An <br />ordinance renaming the street known as "Centennial Drive" as <br />designated on the plat of Centennial Heights West to "Hillside <br />Lane" and "Hillside Court." <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Director of Planning, explained that the street name <br />change is important to abort any confusion between the Centennial <br />Drive in Centennial Heights West and the Centennial Drive further <br />to the east and north of South Boulder Road. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council comments or questions. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1093, Series 1993, <br />at 1st Reading and set a Public Hearing for January 19, 1993. <br />Seconded by Hornbostel. <br /> <br /> <br />
