APPOINTNRWT - GOVERNING BOARD FOR CENTER FOR THE ARTS - WINSTON
TUSTISON

Davidson stated that, to fill a resignation, he appointed Dr.
Winston Tustison.

APPROVE LICENSE AGREEKENT - GERRITY OIL & GAS CORPORATION

Sisk wondered why, as a City, Louisville should sign this licensing
agreement. He commented that Gerrity Oil is involved in the
Lastoka/Harney property and wondered:

1.) In terms of cooperation, what kind of cooperation
Louisville could expect from Gerrity Oil in terms of the
drilling programs on the Lastoka/Harney property?
2.) Why wasn't Louisville contacted in January? Why did this
come on line June 17 Is this the way Martin and/or
Garrity does business?

David Siple, Land Manager with Garrity Oil & Gas Corporation, 473
So. Williams Street, Denver, Colorado, stated that they are asking
for a revokable licensing agreement for a pipeline that is already
in place, which they acquired from Martin'Exploration on January l,
1993, and to approve an additional half mile portion of pipeline
that would tie into the existing pipeline. He explained that they
were just now coming before the City Council, because when they
acquired the Martin properties on January 1, they assured Garrity
that all consents had been obtained from numerous parties, not just
the City of Louisville. This was one that they missed and it had
just come to Garrity's attention a month ago.

Sisk:

You're asking for not only the
Martin assignment, but, also, you're
expanding the pipeline in size on
the additional portion that we're
being asked to give you an
agreement?

Siple:

It's additional length. It's a
smaller size pipeline, a 6" line
going into the existing 8" pipeline.

Sisk:

It's a half mile?

Siple:

Yes, Sir.

Sisk:

As far as the revocable license
agreement is concerned, what would
Garrity propose to do, if we saw fit
to deny it?
