Sisk moved that Council place Ordinance No. 1111, Series 1993, out
for publication and set a Public Hearing for July 20, 1993.
Seconded by Howard. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 7 -
0 vote.

ANNEXATION PETITION FILED BY MORRISON

RESOLUTION NO. 23, SERIES 1993 - FINDING SUBSTANTIAL
COMPLIANCE OF AN ANNEXATION PETITION FILED BY MORRISON
INITIATING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY
AND ESTABLISHING A TIME FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO DETERMINE
IF THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION COMPLIES WITH STATUTORY
REQUIREMENTS

Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that this application was
submitted by Madeleine Morrison and Steven Bellock petitioning the
City for annexation. The property is located directly south of
Dyer Road, west of McCaslin, and adjoins the CB property, 10 acres
to its east, and Sterling Heights unincorporated residential
subdivision to the west, north of U.S. 36. The Planning Commission
was a vote of 4 - 1, passing Planning Commission Resolution No. 10,
recommending to Council approval of the CB zoned district for
findings that it was in compliance both with the Colorado Revised
Statutes and the 1989 City of Louisville Comprehensive Plan. He
would ask the applicant to work with staff in submission of an
annexation impact report for this parcel in accordance with
Colorado Revised Statutes, which apply to parcels 10 acres or
larger.

Davidson called for the applicant's presentation.

Chuck Bellock, 1400 - 28th Street, Boulder, Colorado.

Bellock:

I would just reaffirm that they
would agree to participate under the
guidelines for the Homart
development. Whatever we submit
will be subject to a future PUD
review. With regard to the
concerns, regarding a master plan,
we under current negotiations with
Bob's (Bresnehan) group right now,
so that they would, eventually,
become the only applicant,
hopefully, by the time we come back
to you for 2nd Reading, trying to
ensure that this will all be
developed as one project. I'm not
aware of the requirements for an
annexation impact report, but we're
certainly willing to cooperate.

12
