Davidson closed the Public Hearing. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council comments and motions. <br /> <br />Hornbostel moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1108, Series <br />1993, at 2nd Reading, which is the changing of the Ward boundaries <br />for the City of Louisville, Colorado, to conform to Constitutional <br />apportionment requirements. Seconded by Howard. <br /> <br />Griffiths: <br /> <br />That does include the revisions that <br />were made subsequent to 1st Reading? <br /> <br />Hornbostel agreed. Howard, seconder, agreed. <br /> <br />Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 5 - 2 vote with Lathrop <br />and Hedding voting against. <br /> <br />Mayer thought that since the Ward boundaries had just changed, for <br />those residents who are now in different boundaries, maybe the City <br />could send out a postcard indicating their new Ward. <br /> <br />Maj-Lis Kemper, City Clerk, stated that she had talked to the <br />County and they will be sending out that information when the <br />polling places are set up. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1109, SERIES 1993 - DESIGNATING BUILDING AT 801 GRANT <br />AVENUE, LOUISVIr~, COLORADO AS THE LOUISVILLE CENTER FOR THE ARTS <br />AND PROVIDING FOR USE THEREOF - 2NDREADING -PUBLICHEARING (PURL. <br />LSVL. TIMES 6/2/93) <br /> <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1109, Series 1993, "An <br />ordinance dedicating the building at 801 Grant Avenue, Louisville, <br />Colorado, as the Louisville Center for the Arts building and <br />providing for the use thereof." <br /> <br />Annette Brand, City Administrator, stated that the Arts & <br />Humanities Council had applied for two grants in the amount of <br />$2,775.00 and $2,500.00 and these will match City money, which will <br />enable the City to make ADA modifications to the building. The <br />funding agency needed to have some kind of official word or <br />evidence that this is a long term commitment on the part of the <br />City for the use of this building for arts and cultural affairs. <br />She stated that this ordinance accomplishes that purpose. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the Public Hearing asking if anyone in the audience <br />wished to speak on Ordinance No. 1109. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the Public Hearing. <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br /> <br />
