Library

Davidson stated that he wanted to consider the Library Assistant,
Library Clerk, and Administrative Secretary all together.

Sisk:

We're talking about a Administrative
Secretary coming on immediately?

Brand:

Yes, January 1, 1994.

Sisk stated that the aggregate of the other two would be a full
time position and would only come on a month before the new Library
addition.

Brand: Yes.

Davidson stated that there were no changes.

Recreation Center

Steve Baysinger, Parks & Recreation Director, stated concerning the
youth sports, that this takes into account more officials and
adding some programs. Those are all part-time people. The adult
programs takes into account more time for officials. The adult
program is self supporting.

Middle School

Baysinger:

There are two components of the
Middle School account. One was a
youth employment program over the
summer. We would be looking to hire
20 - 25 middle school age to
freshman and sophomore high school
kids from Louisville. We would
employ them for 20 hours a week
during the summer. We would also
have a supervisor over all of that
group, which would include
employment training and information
for them on how to get jobs
subsequent to this one. The other
component is to take into account
some recreation programming for the
middle school and high school age
groups. What we have allocated for
that is approximately $5,000 for the
professional services and $5,000 for
supplies.

11
