Youth Account - Recreational Instructor Baysinger stated that this takes into account expansion from four sessions of gymnastics programs to eight sessions of gymnastics programs. These programs are bringing in more than 50% of the cost of operating. He explained that this would be adding some aids to help in those youth classes, so more children can enroll in those classes. They would also be extending the hours of the summer day camp program and be able to increase the program with more staff. Sisk wondered, concerning the youth activities, when the two people would be employed. Baysinger: These are F.T.E.'s and that's a little misleading, when you get into Parks & Recreation. That could be six, eight, or ten people. That would be throughout the year, because the gymnastics programs are going from four sessions to eight sessions. We'll be hiring more people and there will be more hours in total. Davidson explained persons/six months, time. that an F.T.E. is one person/year, two four people for the summer/one F.T.E. full Baysinger stated that the number would be adjusted by enrollment and, if they don't get the enrollment that they need for six instructors, they will use four instructors, with no benefits being paid.
