Mayor Fauson moved and Mohr seconded to adopt <br />Ordinance #956, Series 1988. By Roll Call Vote, <br />the motion passed 4-0. <br />ORDINANCE #960 - SERIES 1988 - HOSPITAL REVENUE BONDS - <br />SET PUBLIC HEARING Williamson read in its entirety Ordinance #960, <br />Series 1988, "An Ordinance providing for the <br />issuance of the City of Louisville, Colorado, <br />Revenue Bonds (Boulder Memorial Hospital Project) <br />Series 1988A in the aggregate principal amount of <br />$10,000,000, and the' City of Louisville, Colorado <br />revenue bonds (Boulder Memorial Hospital Project <br />Series 1988B in the aggregate principal amount of <br />$8,000,000 all for the purpose of financing the <br />costs of constructing a new hospital and related <br />improvements in the City of Louisville; <br />authorizing the sale: of said bonds; approving the <br />form and authorizing the execution of mortgage and <br />loan agreements relating to each series among <br />Boulder Memorial Hospital, Porter Memorial <br />Hospital and the City, mortgage and loan <br />agreements relating to each series among Boulder <br />Memorial hospital, Brighton Community Hospital <br />Association, DBA Platte Valley Medical Center and <br />the City and mortgage and loan agreements relating <br />to each series between Boulder Memorial Hospital <br />and the City; approving the form and authorizing <br />the execution of a bond purchase agreement, <br />indentures of trust relating to each series and a <br />tax regulatory agreement; and authorizing <br />execution of miscellaneous documents and <br />instruments related thereto." <br />Stahl explained that Boulder Memorial Hospital has <br />requested that the City of Louisville issue <br />Revenue Bonds in the aggregate principal amount of <br />$18,000,000 (1988 Series A and Series B issues) <br />for the purpose of constructing a new hospital at <br />the Centennial Health Park. Issuance of the bonds <br />does not create a debt or indebtedness of the <br />City, nor a charge against general credit or <br />taxing powers of the City. The project is <br />scheduled for final Council and Planning <br />Commission review and approval in August and to <br />commence construction during September of this <br />year. The City Attorney has reviewed and approved <br />the Ordinance as to form and content and staff <br />recommends approval of Ordinance #960, Series <br />1988 on first reading and that a public hearing be <br />held on July 19, 1988 for final consideration. <br />Mohr moved and Carnival seconded to place <br />Ordinance #960 out for publication and a public <br />5 <br />
