~k~yor Fauson closed the public hearing and called <br />for a motion <br />Mohr moved and Mayon Fauson seconded to adopt <br />Resolution #43, Series 1988. By Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution #43, Series 1988 was adopted 7-0. <br />RESOLUTION #44 - TAX LEVY <br />FOR 1988 Read in its entirety, Resolution #44, Series 1988, <br />"A Resolution levying general property taxes for <br />the year 1988, to help defray the costs of <br />government for the City of Louisville, Colorado, <br />for the 1989 Budget Year." <br />Stahl explained that: this Resolution set the 1988 <br />property tax mill levy at 5.655 mills. The City's <br />mill levy will increase from 5.090 to 5.655 mills. <br />House Bill 1003 allows the City to increase its <br />property tax revenues by 5.5$ excluding the <br />portion of assessed valuation attributed to new <br />annexations and new construction. The mill levy <br />of 5.655 represents the increase allowable by H.B. <br />1003. All of the increased revenue generated by <br />this 5.5$ increase ($32,720) will go to the City <br />Capital Improvement Program. <br />Stahl stated that du~.e to the reassessment of <br />residential property from 18~ to 16$, the actual <br />tax paid by a Louisville homeowner with a $100,000 <br />home will be $1.14 less than 1987. <br />Mohr moved and Carnival seconded to adopt <br />Resolution #44, Series 1988. By Roll Call Vote, <br />Resolution #44, Series 1988 was adopted 6-0-1 with <br />Anderson abstaining. <br />RESOLUTION #45 - APPROPRIATING SUMS OF MONEY TO VARIOUS FUNDS - <br />1989 BUDGET Read in its entirety, Resolution #45, Series 1988, <br />"A Resolution appropriating sums of money to the <br />various funds and spending agencies, in the <br />amounts and for the purpose as set forth below, <br />for the City of Louisville, Colorado, for the 1989 <br />Budget Year." <br />Stahl explained that consistent with Colorado <br />Budget Law, this Resolution appropriates sums of <br />money by fund for the City of Louisville <br />consistent with the adopted 1989 City budget. <br />Mayor Fauson moved and Sackett seconded to adopt <br />Resolution #45, Series 1988. By Roll Ca11 Vote, <br />Resolution #45, Series 1988 was adopted 7-0. <br />3 <br />
