John McGuire, Manager of Property and Real Estate for the
Archdiocese of Denver, explained that they have a contract on the
property with Howard Witkin of Witkin Homes.

Howard Witkin, 3300 South Parker Road, Aurora, Colorado, was there
to answer any questions.

George Harrack, 294 Short Place, Louisville, Colorado, didn't feel
the PUD variance should be granted. He was concerned with the lot
grades.

Daryl Oshiro, 912 Garfield Avenue, Louisville, Colorado, wanted the
City to consider:

1.)

2.)

3.)

4.)

Purchasing the land as open space with the new open space
tax;
Buying part of the land and using it to increase park
space;
In addition to adhering to the current RR zoning, could
the City reduce fees or other expenses for the church's
new project on McCaslin in return for a significant
reduction in the number and sizes of houses built on the
Harney property? The land left over could be added to
the proposed park in the middle of the development.
Buying a portion of the land and use it for a community
project, such as gardens, bike path link-ups, etc.

Oshiro was also concerned about the additional traffic.

Bill Hayes, 839 McKinley, Louisville, Colorado, didn't know if the
developer had any meetings with the neighborhood. He felt it
should remain RR. He wanted a park on this property.

Suzanne Van Gytenbeek, 1001 Lincoln Avenue, Louisville, Colorado,
represented the Harney Neighborhood Association as being opposed to
the rezoning of the property from the current RR zoning. The
Association encouraged Council to consider purchasing the 7.712
acres for open space from monies generated from the City of
Louisville's open space sales tax.

Andrew Horton, 940 McKinley Avenue, Louisville, Colorado, a member
of the Harney Neighborhood Association, agreed with Van Gytenbeek's
statement.

Peter Stewart, 1132 Jefferson Avenue, Louisville, Colorado, a
member of the Harney Neighborhood Association, wanted to be
involved with the entities involved in the development of the
neighborhood to make sure it meets the concerns of the
neighborhood.

Davidson called for Council comments and questions.
