They had also given a $500 <br />donation to this year's fireworks display. <br /> <br />Keany wondered if there would be any "stop" signs coming out of <br />their facility onto the access road to the west. <br /> <br />Veeder stated that it would be looked into. <br /> <br />Sisk wondered if there would be a need for a stoplight at South <br />Boulder Road. <br /> <br />Tom Phare, Public Works Director, stated that the project did not <br />include or envision any traffic signals either on South Boulder <br />Road, at the western drive access point, nor on Hwy. 42. <br /> <br />Mayer was concerned about the left-hand turn along Hwy. 42. <br /> <br />Levihn moved that Council approve Resolution No. 30, Series 1994, <br />as stated. Seconded by Keany. Roll call was taken. Motion passed <br />by a 6 - 0 with Lathrop being excused. <br /> <br />APPROVAL COAL MINERS CLASSIC BICYCLE RACE, BOULDER VELO BICYCLE <br />CLUB, AUGUST 8, 1994 <br /> <br />Steve Baysinger, Parks & Recreation Director, stated that the race <br />will be Sunday, August 8, 1994, 7:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. Proceeds <br />will be donated to Louisville's D.A.R.E. Program. <br /> <br />Dale Riley, Race Director, 1994 Coal Miners Classic, 154 Donovan <br />Court, Longmont, Colorado, stated that the only change from last <br />year's race will be a shorter day. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council approve the Boulder Velo Bicycle Race and <br />the City make their barricades available, contingent upon the <br />Boulder Velo insurance coverage sufficiently covering the use of <br />said barricades. Seconded by Sisk. All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1149, SERIES 1994 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER <br />8.08, WEEDS, OF TITLE 8 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE - 1ST <br />READING - SET PUBLIC HEARING JUNE 7, 1994 <br /> <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1149, Series 1994, "An <br />ordinance amending Chapter 8.08, Weeds, of Title 8 of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code by adding definitions to Section <br />8.08.010, amending Section 8.08.020 and enacting a new Section <br />8.08.025 to specify and provide for methods of weed control on <br />property zoned Agricultural." <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that paragraph B had been <br />modified to reflect the three conditions which waive the exemption <br />to weed control: <br /> <br /> <br />
