Campbell spoke of his displeasure in obtaining information about
the Board of Appeals and Zoning Adjustment and requested assistance
through the Council. (Tape available.)

John Franklin, Director of Community Development, explained that
his Department had gone out of their way to provide the
information, taking umbrage with Mr. Campbell's negative
statements.

Lathrop suggested that Mr. Campbell direct his concerns to the City
Administrator rather than consuming the time of the people
attending Council.

REGULAR BUSINESS

COMMENTS FROM THE BOULDER COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Ron Stewart spoke of the value of the four meetings that day
covering transportation, open space, what may occur as a result of
the closing of Rocky Flats, and many other issues the community is
concerned about.

Homer Page spoke of his feeling that Boulder County and the City of
Louisville are on the right track in terms of working together in
cooperation with each other.

Sandy Hume appreciated the communication between the City of
Louisville and Boulder County.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Howard stated that the Economic Development Committee of the City
of Louisville and the Chamber of Commerce met last night for a
quick meeting to discuss some of the Community events and the phone
call handling mechanism. The request by the Chamber is $36,001.00.
He recommended they fund the program of five community events, the
Taste of Louisville, the Fourth of July Celebration, Memorial Day,
the $7,500.00 for phone answering for Economic Development, and the
Health Fair.

Howard:

I have two items I'd like to add for
discussion by the Council. I feel
that Council should receive a final
report for each one of the items
listed for funding and that the
final report include a complete cost
break out for the paid members of
staff and the overhead costs. I'm
willing to vote to carry on the
funding as long as there is full
financial disclosure. Also, Chamber
wanted a March 1, 1992 start date
