Mayer. Mayer questioned the $1,500.00 for the braille keypad for the elevator. Annette Brand, City Administrator, stated that it isn't just the keypad. It's the distance between the top and the bottom of the door and more. Ali. in favor. PROPOSED DRCOG RESOLUTION - COUNCILMEMBER HEDDING Hedding stated that DRCOG presented a resolution and it was voted that they wait until January to have a final vote on it. He wanted Council to read it and get their input on this and give him some direction on how to vote at the DRCOG meeting in January. The proposed resolution was continued (One page of the resolution did not get copied in the Council's packet. A complete copy of the resolution was presented to each Councilmember for their review at the end of the Council meeting.). C~)SURE OF STREETS FOR THE PARADE OF LIGHTS Davidson stated that this was for the closure of the Main Street from Pine to Walnut from 3:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Spruce Street from the side of City Hall to Main Street from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for the Parade of Lights. Also, Main Street from Rex to South Street to Front Street, the official parade route. Mayer moved that Council approve the closure of the streets for the Parade of Lights. Seconded by Howard. All in favor. OTHER REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS ARISING AFTER PREPARATION OF AGENDA NOME CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT NONE COI~CIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS Lathrop complimented the maintenance crews for the commendable job they did in the last storm. He stated that recently he has had an unusual number of contacts, calls, and discussions concerning the Co~ncil meeting of November 17, 1992, concerning Paul Brooks and his proposal. He was out of town at that meeting. He felt Council needs to reflect on this past year and how they are perceived and how they have treated, processed, and analyzed developments primarily, and in some cases, individuals. He felt Council
